A girl in the paldea region that lives in Levincea who’s first Pokémon is a Zorua. Because it was transformed when they first met she thought it was a tinkatink.

The midday sun beat down on Levincea, baking the cobblestones to a shimmering haze. Eleven-year-old Elara, perched precariously on the crumbling wall overlooking the bustling market square, sighed. Another day, another unsuccessful attempt to convince her grandmother to let her start her Pokémon journey. Grandmother Emilia, a renowned herbalist, believed Pokémon were too unpredictable, too “wild” for her granddaughter.

Suddenly, a glint of metal caught Elara’s eye. Nestled amongst discarded crates near the docks, a tiny, bell-like creature tinkered with a rusty cog. It was metallic, almost impossibly small, with mischievous emerald eyes peering out from under a tiny helmet. It looked exactly like a Tinkatink, a Pokémon Elara had only ever seen in books. Eagerly, she approached.

As she drew closer, the creature froze, its movements jerky and stilted. Then, with a flash of shimmering energy, it changed. The metallic sheen vanished, replaced by sleek, dark fur. The tiny helmet melted away, revealing pointed ears and a sly, fox-like face. It was a Zorua.

Elara gasped. She’d never seen a Pokémon transform like that before. The Zorua, seemingly startled by its own transformation, whimpered softly, its emerald eyes wide with apprehension. Elara, far from being scared, felt a surge of protectiveness.

“It’s alright,” she whispered, extending a hand slowly. The Zorua hesitated, then nudged her fingers with its cool nose. In that instant, a connection sparked. It was a bond deeper than she’d ever imagined.

Grandmother Emilia’s disapproval was swiftly forgotten. Elara knew, with unshakeable certainty, that this Zorua, this tiny, shape-shifting Pokémon, was her first partner. They had a journey ahead of them.

Their adventure began with a stolen boat – a rather rickety fishing vessel – and a map Elara found tucked inside the Zorua’s makeshift “helmet”. The map, worn and faded, depicted a hidden route through the rugged mountains bordering Levincea, a path rarely travelled. Intrigued, Elara and her Zorua set off.

Their journey was far from easy. They navigated treacherous mountain passes, outsmarted grumpy, territorial Pokémon, and even evaded a group of suspicious-looking Team Star grunts. Zorua, despite its small size, proved to be an invaluable companion, its illusions confounding enemies and its agility allowing them to escape tricky situations. Elara, in turn, protected Zorua, sharing her meager rations and offering comfort when the little Pokémon was weary.

They encountered many other Pokémon along the way: a playful Sprigatito that led them to a hidden spring, a wise-looking Tauros that helped them cross a raging river, and a flock of fluttering Flutter Mane that guided them through a dense forest. Each encounter strengthened their bond, and slowly, Elara learned to understand Zorua’s unique abilities and communicate with it telepathically.

Their journey eventually led them to a hidden valley, a breathtaking expanse of wildflowers and crystal-clear streams. At its heart stood an ancient shrine, radiating a strange, calming energy. It was here, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Paldea wilderness, that Elara and her Zorua truly understood the depth of their connection, forging a bond that would last a lifetime. Their adventure had only just begun, but Elara knew, as she gazed at her loyal Zorua, that together, they could conquer any challenge Paldea threw their way.
