SPEED NETWORKING
November’s Trig meeting is a member favorite, Speed Networking, so pull out your business cards in whatever format you use and brush up on your elevator pitch and come to the meeting. We are setting up for 6 people per table so each will have more time this year. If you know investors or people who want to be investors, invite them to the meeting. If you’re a member and have the Free First Time cards, invite them. If they haven’t attended a Trig meeting before, they can take advantage by signing up for the Free First Time Guest Pass offer on the trigofva.com. You will absolutely meet new people who may be able to help you build your business.
Meeting check-in will begin at 6:15 and anyone in line to check-in by 6:45 will be entered in a raffle for a $25 Gift Card,
The meeting will begin promptly at 7pm.

Speed Networking: A Trig Meeting

INT. HOLIDAY INN VIRGINIA BEACH NORFOLK HOTEL AND CONFERENCE CENTER – BALLROOM – EVENING
The room buzzes with excited chatter as attendees mingle. Business cards are exchanged and introductions are made. A large banner reads “TRIG Speed Networking” and a sign points to the registration table.
CHARLIE (50s, friendly, wears a name tag) chats with SARAH (30s, confident, holding a stack of business cards).
CHARLIE
So, Sarah, tell me about your business. What’s new and exciting for you?
SARAH
(Smiling)
We’re launching a new line of sustainable products next month. I’m really excited about it! It’s a big step for our company.
CHARLIE
(Nodding)
That’s fantastic! I’m sure it’s going to be a hit.
SARAH
(Looking around)
This speed networking event is really well-organized. It’s great to have so much time to connect with people.
CHARLIE
(Chuckling)
They’ve done a good job with the setup. It’s not like those crammed-in speed networking events where you only get a minute with each person.
SARAH
(Nodding)
Exactly!
A BELL RINGS, signalling the start of the event.
CHARLIE
Well, looks like it’s time to get started! Good luck out there, Sarah!
SARAH
Thanks! You too!
The room is divided into tables of six. Participants rotate every ten minutes, moving to a new table and meeting new people.
INT. BALLROOM – LATER
SARAH (now sitting with a different group of people) shares her business ideas, while MARK (40s, enthusiastic, holding a tablet) intently listens.
MARK
(Intrigued)
That’s a really interesting concept. I’m always looking for new sustainable options. Would you mind if I took a look at your website?
SARAH
(Excited)
Of course! Here’s my card.
Mark scans the QR code on her card and opens her website.

CHARLIE
(Leaning back in his chair, smiling)
I can’t believe how many interesting people I’ve met tonight!
SARAH
(Agreeing)
It’s been really productive. I feel like I’ve made some valuable connections.
CHARLIE
(Raising his glass)
Here’s to a successful networking event!
SARAH
(Clinking her glass against his)

The organizer, ANNA (40s, organized, wearing a name tag) announces the winner.

SARAH
(Surprised and delighted)

She collects her prize, feeling both excited and grateful for the night’s success.
