Captain Spike (the fat wild boar supervillain created by Jim55) enters another dimension that is dark yet vaguely illuminated compared to where he came from. After wandering aimlessly through the universe that is seemingly empty (there are no people in the city he is in despite looking like the place he came from), he finds a skyscraper. He enters it and finds it empty on the inside. He goes up to the top floor, which tires him out. After the long and exhausting climb, he finds a chair large enough for him to sit on and a cloak wide enough to cover him that should not be in a skyscraper, so he goes to it, sits down on it, takes the cloak to cover himself and rest. The respite does not last long as he hears a sound that like thunder or lightning and then the lightning-like energy goes up like flames and the area he’s in grows darker than before. He is scared as he senses a presence coming behind him (he trembles in fear through his head and right arm which he is using to cover himself with, while underneath the said cloak, the fear causes his torso to tremble at the opposite direction from the head but his stomach to start quivering the same direction as his lower jaw, all while he fearfully looks around, too scared to say anything). The terrifying presence is coming from Erubo (created by k9manx90), who is intrigued by the former’s appearance yet at the same time angered by it. Erubo growls and howls while slowly approaches the interloper. Captain Spike fearfully looks at both sides of the sides the chair to see what the sound is and where it’s coming from while trembling in fear through his lower jaw. When he looks at the opposite side of the chair, he sees Erubo, who is so big his face can be seen throughout the horizon, causing Captain Spike to gasp in fear while he trembled in the same fashion in sync of the gasp. He gets up from the chair, drops the cloak, and backs away while his fear continues causing his stomach to quiver. Erubo angrily but calmly asks Captain Spike who he is and what he’s doing here. Captain Spike fearfully tries to explain that he is lost and alone. Erubo tells Captain Spike that he is not welcome in his universe. Captain Spike fearfully apologizes. Erubo asks what he is staring at. Captain Spike fearfully utters “nothing”. Erubo assumes that he’s “come to stare at Erubo”. Captain Spike tries to run but Erubo goes in front of him with amazing speed despite his size, Captain Spike pleads that he meant no harm; that he needed to mind his own surroundings. Erubo says he will help him mind his own surroundings as he uses his telekinesis to carry Captain Spike. Captain Spike pleads the giant, but the latter ignores his pleas as he carries him away.
The city stretched before Captain Spike, a dizzying array of shimmering skyscrapers that seemed to pierce the inky, yet vaguely illuminated, sky. His snout twitched, the air thick with a silent, oppressive stillness. There was no hum of traffic, no laughter of children, no echo of life. He was utterly alone in this strange, silent world.
He lumbered through the deserted streets, each step heavy in the unnerving quiet. The city was a mirror image of his own, yet utterly devoid of the chaos and vibrancy he knew. His hefty form, a walking fortress of blubber and tusks, felt out of place in the stark emptiness.
He spotted a colossal skyscraper, its windows reflecting the strange, dim light of this universe. It was the only sign of potential life, so he trudged towards it, the climb a laborious effort for his massive body. Finally, he reached the roof, panting, sweat dripping from his thick coat.
On the roof, a single, colossal chair rested, its size dwarfing even him. Beside it lay a cloak, woven from a fabric he’d never seen, shimmering with an otherworldly sheen. He collapsed onto the chair, the cloak settling around him like a heavy blanket. He was exhausted, his body aching from the climb.
Suddenly, the air crackled with energy, a sound like distant thunder rolling through the empty city. The air shimmered, the darkness deepening, and the strange, vaguely illuminated sky above him dimmed to an oppressive black. A chill snaked through him, his bristly fur standing on end. A presence, vast and terrifying, was approaching.
His head, his arm, his body all shook with fear. His jaw trembled, and his stomach quaked in a horrifying counterpoint. His eyes darted frantically, seeking the source of the growing dread.
Then, he saw it.
A colossal, monstrous form emerged from the darkness, its face filling the entire horizon. Its eyes, burning with an unholy light, pierced through him. It was Erubo, a primordial being of unimaginable power. Captain Spike gasped, a strangled sound in the silence.
Erubo snarled, his voice a guttural rumble that echoed across the empty city. “Who are you? What brings you to my domain?”
Captain Spike, his fear choking his words, stammered, “I… I’m lost. I came through a… a rift.”
Erubo growled, his anger seeping through the silence. “You are not welcome here. This is my universe, and you are an intruder.”
Captain Spike cowered, his fear tangible. “I… I meant no harm. I just wanted to rest.”
Erubo’s monstrous eyes narrowed. “What are you staring at?”
Captain Spike stammered, “Nothing… nothing.”
“You came here to stare at me,” Erubo boomed.
Captain Spike scrambled to his feet, his body trembling, the cloak falling away. He turned to flee, but Erubo moved with astonishing speed, his massive form intercepting him.
“I will help you mind your surroundings,” Erubo growled, his voice laced with threat.
He reached out, a wave of energy rippling through the air. Captain Spike felt a powerful force lift him from the ground, his legs kicking helplessly against the invisible force. He screamed, but Erubo ignored him, his monstrous form blotting out the stars, his anger a palpable presence in the emptiness. He was being carried away, his heart hammering in his chest, his fear a monstrous entity of its own, a reflection of the vast, terrifying presence that now held him captive.
