Billy Loomis, from scream 1996, after passing out in class finds out he’s actually intersex aka genetically female which causes an identity crisis with him to the point he takes a six week break from school

As he’s contemplating things he cries every night of confusion and yet has dreams of himself as a girl like Aphrodite inviting him into her shell and turning him into a girl or a fairy godmother turning him into a girl

After some contemplation he decides to experiment with his identity

Taking inspiration from Courtney Love and Brody Dalle he begins experimenting with clothes first. With loose tank tops to crop tops, miniskirts and low rise jeans, slip dresses, fishnet stockings and combat boots he sees himself as almost empowering

Soon Billy buys hair growth shampoo and soon his curtain bangs becomes a soft chic bob cut and soon shaved his legs and likes the smooth way they feel

And finally after putting grunge/kinderwhore styled makeup on he sees himself. Or maybe herself. As now she decides to be a girl

It’s then she changes her name from William to Wilhelmina or Billie for short

One night Billie comes down to dinner in makeup and girls clothes and finally tells her parents she’s trans and her new name and at first she thinks they’ll hate her but they immediately accept her almost instantly as they’ve always wanted a little girl giving Billie a sigh of relief

However while her mother, Nancy accepts her she’s always had a vision of a very demure, very feminine, and very gentle daughter and soon Billie now becomes the Loomis household Barbie doll often with her being forced into very pastel, frilly and lacy 50s prom queen styled dresses along with hair bows, pearls and stilettos even going so far to basically curl Billies hair very curly almost like Marilyn Monroe and Rita Hayworth and even makeup like theirs too

Hell even redecorating parts of Billies room into a pastel princess dream

Her dad, Hank, always dreamed of having a daughter to walk down the aisle sets Billie up on dates with his friends sons as he hopes to have a daughter to be the perfect bride and good little wife

Billie loves her parents but even their expectations are not what she wants as a girl

When Billie gets back to school everyone’s surprised that the bad boy Billy has become riot grrrl Billie

Her friends while shocked are immediately supportive but not as supportive as her boyfriend Stu Macher who now treats her like a complete princess by giving her gifts a lot of gifts and loving on her daily

But Billie also faces shit that a lot of trans women face like chasers and transphobic bullies but she’s a tough girl and she’ll face the world whether it wants to or not

Billy Loomis, the brooding bad boy of Woodsboro High, had always felt a disconnect, a sense of being…wrong. It wasn’t until he fainted in history class that the truth, shocking and profound, was revealed. A blood test, ordered by the school nurse, confirmed what he’d secretly feared and secretly hoped for: Billy was intersex, genetically female.

The revelation sent Billy spiraling. He spent nights sobbing, his reflection a stranger in the mirror. In his dreams, Aphrodite, goddess of beauty and love, beckoned him, her ethereal form a promise of transformation. A fairy godmother, her wand shimmering, whispered of a life as a girl.

Driven by an unyielding urge to explore his true self, Billy took a six-week hiatus from school. He started small, experimenting with clothing. Loose tank tops, crop tops, miniskirts, and low-rise jeans became his daily uniform. He felt a sense of power, an exhilarating freedom, in these borrowed garments.

Inspired by the fierce femininity of Courtney Love and Brody Dalle, Billy embraced a new aesthetic. He bought hair growth shampoo, letting his curtain bangs morph into a chic bob. He shaved his legs, enjoying the smooth feel of his skin. Then came the makeup, grunge and kinderwhore-inspired, a bold proclamation of his new identity.

Standing before the mirror, Billy saw himself, or rather, herself. The realization hit with a force that knocked the air out of her lungs. This was her, this was who she was meant to be. She was Billie, no longer William.

Billie walked down to dinner one night, a kaleidoscope of color and confidence. She told her parents about her journey, about her new name, about being trans. To her surprise, her fear was replaced by a wave of relief. Her parents, Nancy and Hank, embraced her, their hearts overflowing with love. They’d always wanted a daughter.

Nancy, however, had a very specific vision of what a daughter should be: delicate, graceful, and endlessly feminine. Billie found herself transformed into the Loomis household’s very own Barbie doll. Pastel princess-themed dresses, frilly lace, and 50s prom queen styles became her daily attire, accented with hair bows, pearls, and stilettos. Her hair, expertly curled, resembled Marilyn Monroe and Rita Hayworth. Billie’s room was redecorated, a pastel fantasy land.

Hank, forever dreaming of walking a daughter down the aisle, set Billie up on dates with his friends’ sons. He envisioned a perfect bride, a good little wife, and Billie, though she loved her parents, found herself suffocating under their expectations.

When Billie returned to school, everyone was shocked. The brooding bad boy was gone, replaced by riot grrrl Billie. Her friends, while surprised, were supportive. Stu Macher, her boyfriend, became her biggest champion, showering her with gifts and affection.

But Billie also faced the realities of being a trans woman. She encountered predatory men, transphobic bullies, and the constant scrutiny of others. But she was resilient, a tough cookie. This was her life, her truth, and she was ready to face the world, however it might judge her. Billie Loomis, the girl who once felt like a misfit, had finally found her place, her voice, and her power.
