Prompt- Korrall and Lucifer are relaxing. Korrall, curled up against Lucifer’s side, was fast asleep. Lucifer gently wrapped his arm over Korrall’s sleeping form. Lucifer gently kissed the top of Korrall’s head. The scent of her, a subtle blend of leather and lavender, filled his senses, grounding him in a way he hadn’t thought possible.

Characters- Korrall is a young woman who has shoulder-length dark auburn hair and her locks are wavy. Her hair is also parted on the front side of her face. She has emerald green eyes. She has double ear piercings in both ears, a triple helix piercing in her right ear, and a two helix piercing in her left ear. All the earrings are hoops and are colored black. She wears a white button-down shirt that isn’t tucked neatly into her jeans, a brown leather jacket over the white shirt and ripped dark blue jeans with chains. She also wears block high-heeled boots, black fingerless gloves with holes around the knuckles and on the back of her palm. She is 5 foot 3 inches tall, but in heels she’s 5 foot 5 inches tall. She is 24 years old. Korrall is a calm, kind and polite woman. But despite her polite nature, Korrall is also strong and courageous, and is not afraid to fight to protect those she loves. She also has a strong temper and is somewhat threatening when angry. Korrall very intelligent and passionate about topics she is interested in. She prefers to blend in with the scenery than to attract unwanted attention. She is very good at drawing. Korrall looks more like her father but her personality is a lot like her mother. She owns a dagger sheathed in the holster that is strapped to her belt. The dagger has a black colored grip curved at the end, and a similarly colored guard, that is engraved with six Crocosmia flower designs around it. The blade is curved and decorated at the base. The dagger is of very fine quality, its weight, and sharpness is very good, and its decorations, minimized, to prevent them from interfering with the weapon’s use. She isn’t into “girly things”, especially makeup and dresses; she doesn’t wear dresses. Lucifer is Korrall’s boyfriend.

Lucifer has messy, slightly long blond hair and light blue eyes. The back and sides of his hair are cut short and closer to his head, while the top layers have been textured for shape and easy maintenance. He is six feet and one inch tall. He wears a green T-shirt, a dark green shirt hanging loose, and blue jeans and dark shoes. He also has some scruff. He was the second of the four Archangels created by God and was his favorite son. He is also a fallen archangel and the first fallen angel. He is the original ruler of Hell and the creator of demons, seen by them as a father figure and their god. Lucifer was created by God billions of years ago, before even the Big Bang, he was raised by Michael and he taught Gabriel various tricks. Lucifer was once the most beautiful and beloved Archangel in all of existence. God loved Lucifer the most of all his angels. Because of his elevated status among the other angels, Lucifer was very proud. When God commanded all those of Heaven to bow down before humanity and to love them more than himself, Lucifer refused, as he considered humans to be a flawed species. Lucifer’s refusal to bow down before humanity was caused by the Mark of Cain influencing his thoughts, as well as jealousy over no longer being God’s favorite creation. Eventually, Lucifer waged a war against God over his decision to create humanity, resulting in God to banish him from Heaven. Naturally, being cast out of Heaven enraged Lucifer, and desperate to prove to God that human beings were indeed a flawed species, he began tempting and twisting the soul of one of the early humans, Lilith. After completely stripping her of her humanity, her soul was transformed into the very first demon. He then would create the four Princes of Hell, some of the most powerful demons nearly impossible to kill, as generals for Hell’s army. At some point, Abel began praying to what he believed to be God. In reality, he was actually praying to Lucifer; who claimed his soul for Hell. Desperate to save his brother, Cain bargained a deal with Lucifer by offering his soul instead of Abel’s. Lucifer agreed to the deal; but only if Cain murders Abel himself. Cain does so in order to save his brother and to guarantee he will enter Heaven upon death, becoming the first murderer. Lucifer then bestows the Mark of Cain onto Cain, turning him into the first Knight of Hell, who went on the create more Knights, elite warrior demons nearly impossible to kill, such as Abaddon. Wanting to please his father, Asmodeus attempted to release the Shedim from Hell, creatures so dark, God would not allow them into the light. Fearing the Shedim, Lucifer banished them back into Hell and punished Asmodeus for attempting to release them. God eventually realized that Lucifer’s continued presence on Earth will threaten the existence of his Creation. Instead of killing him, God instead commands Michael to imprison Lucifer in the Cage, a specially designed cell sealed with over 600 seals in the deepest parts of Hell. Michael does so, beginning Lucifer’s long banishment until he faded into legend; with only Azazel being the only demon who did not give up looking for Lucifer. However, it was then predicted that Lucifer will one day, free himself from his imprisonment and begin the Apocalypse where he will destroy humanity, and restore Earth to its original “untainted” glory. It is suggested that Lucifer only uses demons as servants and would eradicate all of them as well, because, despite them being his creations, he considers demons to be even less worthy than humans. Proof of this is shown when he casually kills dozens of them. However, he holds his greatest contempt for Pagan Gods, believing them to be petty, disloyal, and the lowest of all beings because they claim to be gods. Lucifer claims that he never lies or even tricks, because he does not have to, as he has said, “I will never lie to you. I will never trick you.” He promised his vessel, Nick, that he would be honest with them. He also said that he sympathizes with his vessels, who is victim like himself. Despite this, Lucifer is largely manipulative and has been proven to mislead on occasion, suggesting that this was more of a ploy to gain trust, rather than an actual commitment, and he would bend this rule when it’s to his advantage. Furthermore, Lucifer tries to gain sympathy from his opponents. Lucifer is also arrogant and extremely vengeful, taking his betrayal and hatred out on the entire world without any remorse. Nonetheless, Lucifer sees himself as a tragic figure who was punished for being right. He refuses to accept any blame for his actions and suggests that God intentionally made Lucifer the way he is, asserting that “God wanted the Devil.” Lucifer is also highly cruel and barbaric to those who get in his way, and despite his claims of being the victim, he has no qualms about killing anyone who angers him, even if he has no true reason for killing them. For example, he savagely massacred all the pagan gods, simply because they plotted against him, despite the fact that they posed no real threat to him. Lucifer has a sense of humor equivalent to Gabriel and Balthazar, rare in many angels. He can be sarcastic and casually indifferent, usually a testament to his arrogance. Lucifer proves to have a comical side, going so far as to dance during a fight with his enemies. Lucifer admitted that he always wanted to fit in and please a father that he could never please. When he next appeared, he was depressed and drinking in a bar, telling the bartender how neither Heaven nor Hell matters to him, and that all he cares about is Korrall. He was so depressed from being unable to feel Korrall’s presence that he nearly cried while he asked Gabriel to put him out of his misery when he held an Archangel Blade to his chest. He had no intention of defending himself against Gabriel. He does deeply cares for Korrall, even though he doesn’t like showing it to others except for Korrall. When manifesting without a vessel on Earth, Lucifer appears as an intense white light, or, when severely weakened, a slender cloud of glowing, bluish-white smoke, identical to other angels. When manifesting within a vessel’s mind or in Hell without a vessel, Lucifer usually, but not always, takes the form of his vessel, Nick. Nick appears to be Lucifer’s favored form to manifest in when Lucifer is in a situation where he gets to choose his appearance. When Lucifer projected his wings while possessing a vessel, a shadowy form of them. Uniquely, Lucifer causes his vessel’s irises to glow red and leaves the pupils unchanged, instead of a blue eye-glow with dots of white light in the center. While being an angel, Lucifer appears to have tainted/corrupted grace – according to one angel, Lucifer carries the stench of Hell on him. As the second archangel, Lucifer is one of the oldest and most powerful beings in the whole universe, and one of the oldest and most powerful beings in all of existence. Lucifer is described by Zachariah as “powerful in ways that defy description”. He is far superior to both demons and angels, as well as other supernatural creatures. He is even stronger than the younger Archangels Gabriel and Raphael, with only Michael being somewhat superior to him among his brothers. He is also no match for God, Death, or Amara. As an archangel, Lucifer retains his full power despite his fallen status. The immensity of his power was further shown by how an improper human vessel, Nick, decayed greatly as a result of containing him and had to consume gallons of demon blood to maintain his form. Even when weakened or bound by powerful spells, Lucifer still retains enough power to take down angels and demons alike and corrode through most binding spells if given enough time. Asmodeus, even when empowered by injecting himself with Gabriel’s grace, showed fear at the thought of Lucifer regaining his full power, claiming to Arthur Ketch that “we’re all dead” if it happened. Lower Tier Nigh-Omnipotence: Being the second oldest archangel, Lucifer is unimaginably powerful, he is nearly all-powerful and as he was once the bearer of the Mark of Cain, he was next to immortal. He can very easily kill even the mightiest of pagan deities and even Angels by just snapping his fingers and is much more powerful than the younger Archangels, as he proves by overpowering and almost killing Gabriel. Nigh-Omniscience: As the second oldest Archangel, Lucifer has extensive knowledge on the workings of the universe and immense awareness of almost everything in it. His knowledge can be assumed to be greater than that of his younger brothers but not quite as extensive as Michael’s. This includes the knowledge of spellcraft and soul manipulation, the ability to see the future, the ability to sense other beings and to see the true form of creatures that cannot be seen by normal means. However, while extensive, Lucifer’s knowledge and awareness is still limited. Precognition: Lucifer could see and accurately predict the future, but he could not see the whole picture. Astral Perception: Lucifer can perceive the true form of beings invisible to the human eye. Localization: As an Archangel, Lucifer is able to track and locate beings, although not if they are warded by Enochian sigils. He can track warded person’s location if they pray to him. Soul Channeling/Soul Absorption: Lucifer possesses the knowledge to draw power from a human’s soul to boost his own powers. Spell Casting: Lucifer was highly proficient and knowledgeable in performing powerful spells. Angelic Possession: Lucifer is required to use a willing vessel on Earth, like all angels. Because of the immensity of his power, he must use a vessel descended from Cain or Abel, or it will begin to decay and eventually spontaneously combust and even then the vessel needs to be strengthened by drinking a significant volume of demon blood. Immortality: As the second oldest archangel, Lucifer has an infinitely long lifespan. He is the second oldest angel and already existed before the Universe itself. The excessive passing of time does not degrade his vessel, like with all celestial beings. His vessel is unaffected by diseases and toxins. He does not tire, and does not require food, water, oxygen, or sleep to sustain his vessel. Astral Projection: Lucifer is able to display his full wings in a flash of white light. Chronokinesis: Lucifer possesses the power to travel backwards and forwards in time, with him keeping this power even after the Fall. As an Archangel, Lucifer’s time-traveling powers are much more refined than regular Angels. Conversion: Lucifer created the race of demons by twisting human souls. Because of this he could manipulate their nature to his whim. Power Augmentation: Lucifer’s presence on Earth greatly enhanced the powers of Jesse Turner, a Cambion (a demon/human hybrid). Power Granting: Lucifer stated that he gave the Princes of Hell their incredible powers when he created them. Exorcism: With just a snap of his fingers, Lucifer was able to exorcise a demon back to Hell. Energy Blasts: Lucifer demonstrated the ability to produce bolts of dim bluish light from his hands. These blasts carry considerable force, as one was able to stagger Michael, despite the gap between their powers. Elemental Control: Lucifer can control the weather, temperature, electrical fields and the elements themselves to an immense degree, enough to cause natural disasters, either willingly or simply due to his mere presence. Terrakinesis: Lucifer could generate earthquakes through his mere presence on the earth; he was able to cause them at a colossal range, creating several across the whole world while he was in America. Thermokinesis: Lucifer can alter temperatures to a drastic degree. His presence alone in Detroit caused incredible drops in temperature and he froze a pane of glass by merely breathing on it. While bound by Supernatural Handcuffs, Lucifer heated them up to the point that they popped off his wrist. He later melted a pair of the handcuffs after revealing that they weren’t really binding him. Electrokinesis: When arriving at the Elysian Fields Hotel, Lucifer caused the lights to flicker. He was also able to turn off a fire alarm and turn on music with a snap of his fingers. Pyrokinesis: Lucifer was able to set a bush on fire from the Cage. Weather Manipulation: When Lucifer was released, he altered the weather by creating severe winds and causing hurricanes and tornadoes across the world. He made the entire city of Detroit’s temperature drop simply through his presence. Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Being the second oldest Archangel, Lucifer is a very accomplished fighter, with millennia worth of fighting experience and thorough combat training. He was able to effortlessly slaughter a group of Pagan Deities without sustaining any injuries. Healing: Lucifer was able to heal physical injuries and restore people to optimal physical health. Molecular Combustion: Lucifer can kill lesser beings by rendering them down to their molecules. Smiting: Like all angels, Lucifer possessed the power to smite lower beings, but as an Archangel, his smiting is far more potent. Telekinesis: Lucifer is able to move objects and beings around with his mind with great ease. He uses both elaborate hand gestures and snaps of his fingers similar to Gabriel. While weakened by having most of his grace extracted, Lucifer still possessed this power and could use it when he was particularly angry to overpower lesser demons. Teleportation: As an archangel, Lucifer can travel anywhere in the universe instantly without occupying the space in between. Apporting: Likewise, Lucifer can bring others to him. Flight: In his angelic form, Lucifer can fly. He circled his vessel Nick while invisible with his wings flapping causing leaves to rustle. Lucifer can also fly and levitate in midair. Archangel wings are far stronger and more durable than lower angel wings. They have a far easier time travelling in time and space and they are much bigger. Lucifer enfolds Korrall in his wings to protect her from a powerful blast. The action shields Korrall from the blast and saves her life, but she is still knocked unconscious. Master Torturer: Lucifer is one of the foremost experts in torture, both physical and spiritual. He tortured Lilith’s spirit to the point where he turned her into the original demon and from there, did the same to several other humans to create his demon armies. His torture methods were so extreme and profound that the memories of it would haunt his victims years after the fact and in some cases cause extreme hallucinations, mental shock and could potentially kill his victims. Biokinesis: Lucifer can manipulate the biological aspects of a creature, which he normally uses to inflict harm on his victims, such as to break bones and damage organs. Anger-Induced Empowerment: A unique trait to Lucifer. When angered, Lucifer’s strength and abilities become temporarily stronger. This was shown when he was depowered from his depleted grace, he was able to break free from powerful binding and power negating spells that were previously keeping him restrained on two separate occasions. Korrall is Lucifer’s girlfriend.

Setting- Modern-day, in Korrall’s apartment, in Korrall’s bedroom, at night.

Atmosphere- calm

The gentle rise and fall of Korrall’s chest against his side was the only sound in the room, a rhythmic counterpoint to the quiet hum of the city outside. Lucifer’s arm was wrapped around her, a comforting weight that kept her close, and he traced lazy circles on her back with his thumb. Her scent, a heady blend of leather and lavender, was intoxicating, anchoring him to this moment, to this girl who had somehow become his entire world.

Korrall’s dark auburn hair, usually styled in loose waves parted on the side, was a mess of tangled curls against the pillow. Even in sleep, her emerald eyes held a hint of their usual sharp intensity. Her black hoop earrings, the triple helix in her right ear and the double helix in her left, peeked out from beneath her messy bun. They were the only hint of rebellion against the otherwise tame aesthetic of her white button-down shirt and ripped jeans. The leather jacket she wore during the day hung carelessly on the back of a chair, its absence highlighting the softness of her exposed skin.

He leaned down, his lips ghosting over the crown of her head, and a sigh escaped him. The warmth of her, the peace she brought him, was a balm against the wounds that ran deep within his soul. He had never known such a deep and profound connection, a feeling that defied the darkness that had always clung to him like a shroud.

The city outside hummed with a life that Lucifer had once been obsessed with destroying. But Korrall, with her unwavering kindness and quiet strength, had shown him the beauty in the chaos. He had never thought he’d find solace in the mundane, in the simple act of sharing a bed with someone who loved him for who he was, flaws and all.

He held her tighter, cherishing the moment, the quiet peace that had become his haven. He wouldn’t deny the darkness within him, the scars of his past, but in her arms, he was allowed to forget them, to simply exist as a man who loved a woman, a woman who had dared to love him back. He would protect this peace, this sanctuary she’d built for him, with every fiber of his being. It was his salvation, his reason for being, and he would do whatever it took to keep it safe.
