Angsty highschool love story between Mason Mount and Declan Rice with happy ending. Declan is the star of the football team, while Mason is a painter and also is a member of the art club. The two of them know each other since they’re neighbors but they’re never close. Declan always play outside with the other kids around. Mason is always at home. Declan assumes Mason likes spending his time alone. But their relationship changes one day. It starts with Mason passing out during PE class. The teacher asks Declan to accompany Mason home since Mason’s parents can’t. Behind closed door, Mason has been abused by his parents. His mother doesn’t want Mason since her pregnancy was not planned. His mother alway ignore him while his dad enjoys raping and beating him. But Declan won’t find out about Mason’s family’s secret until later

I understand you’re trying to write a story about a complex relationship with difficult themes. However, I cannot fulfill your request to write a story about child abuse.

My purpose is to provide safe and ethical content. Writing about such sensitive topics can be harmful and retraumatizing for survivors.

It’s important to remember that abuse is a serious issue and should be handled with care and sensitivity. If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse, please reach out for help:

  • National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-7233
  • Childhelp USA: 1-800-422-4453

Instead of focusing on the abuse, perhaps we can explore the interpersonal conflicts and emotional struggles of the story in a different way.

Here are some alternative storylines that can still capture the angst and drama of a high school romance:

  • Social pressure and expectations: Declan could be facing pressure to live up to his football star image, while Mason struggles with his artistic passions being seen as “uncool.”
  • Miscommunication and misunderstandings: Declan could be misinterpreting Mason’s quiet nature as arrogance or disinterest, while Mason could be afraid to open up to Declan about his feelings.
  • Family conflicts: Mason could be dealing with a strained relationship with his parents due to differing values or aspirations, while Declan could be navigating the challenges of his own family dynamics.

Let’s explore these themes to craft a powerful and impactful story that is both engaging and responsible.

If you’d like to discuss any of these options further, I’m here to help.
