Eagalscar Backstory: A tiny abandoned kitten wit
Eagalscar
Backstory:
A tiny abandoned kitten with a white head and tail and a brown body. gets spotted by an eagle but instead of the eagle eating it it decides to take him back to her nest where she takes care of him. And the eagle’s name is Vega. Vega names him Eaglescar and they create a whole system of ramps across the trees so Eagle can go across the trees. Also there are other eagle families around that they are friends with as well. But some of the other eagle chicks make fun of him because he’s a cat. But he is determined to prove himself to them and to bring honor to his mother. When he was older he was wandering the forest and saw another cat wandering the forest floor. Curious, he decided to follow and the other cat led him to a camp of about 20 – 30 cats. Eaglescar is very surprised at how many cats there were. But the cat he was following looked back and saw him. The cat yelled an alarm and then all the cats looked at him. Terrified he ran away while the other cats were chasing him from the forest floor. He luckily got away because none of the other cats could climb. But unknowing to him the cat that he followed was now following him and when he went down to the forest floor she tackled and pinned him to the ground. But before she could speak Vega swoops in and hits the she-cat off of Eaglescar. The she-cat looks at them in fear and shock as she gets up and runs away. Vega scolds him for interacting with the forest cats and says to never go there again. But about a month later he sneaks out while Vega is out hunting and goes to the forest cats territory. To his surprise he runs into the same she-cat that tackled him. She was very shocked and said that she thought he was dead, that her name was Crystalshine, that she was part of Thunderclan, and sorry for chasing you. Eagalscar accepted her apology and he asked her a bunch of questions about what clan life was like. She asked him if he wanted to join but he said no and that he needed to get back to his eagle family. Crystalshine said ok and they went their separate ways. But after that talk Eaglescar couldn’t stop thinking about Crystalshine. He would always watch from the trees as she was hunting or battle training and when she was wandering the forest alone he would hop down from the trees and talk to her, teach her to climb, and hunt with her. Soon they became very good friends and she invited him again to come meet the clan. He agrees this time and comes with her. At first the clan is hostile but relaxed as they realized he wasn’t a threat. The clan leader looks at him and asks him why he wants to be a Thunderclan cat, and he says because I want to hunt, fight, and be a part of a clan. The leader says are you willing to sacrifice your life for the clan? Eaglescar hesitates and the leader says come back tomorrow and give me your answer. When he goes back to his nest he asks Vega and she says yes if that’s what you want you can go. But his best eagle friend named cloud said no i’ll be lonely without you But Eaglescar says he will come and visit every other day and she agrees.
Clan life is intimidating for Eaglescar and the only thing that comforts him is his friend Crystalshine. Eaglescars name changes to Eaglepaw. He asks why and the leader says he must earn the rest of his name by being an apprentice and then once he becomes a warrior he will get the rest of his name. Eaglepaws mentor is Crystalshine and she trains him to hunt, fight, and treat basic wounds. They have a lot of fun training and he catches on very quickly how to hunt, and fight. During his first battle as an apprentice he beats three cats and the clan leader (Hollystar) grants him his warrior name. His name is now changed to Eaglescar again. And soon after that Eaglescar confesses his love to Crystalshine and they become mates. They are always together; they eat, sleep, play, hunt and fight together. But one day Eaglescars old eagle friend Cloud comes to visit Eaglescar and he tells her that he has a mate now and is happy in Thunderclan. But Cloud is not happy. She says she wants him to come back to the eagle territory. Eaglescar says no and Cloud says he will regret this choice. Eaglescar is hurt but he shrugs it off and goes back to the Thunderclan camp. Before he gets back to Thunderclan Crystalshine surprises him by telling him that she’s expecting kits. Eaglescar is overjoyed and is so excited but little did they know Cloud was looking at them from a tree and she was livided and flew off angrily and was plotting revenge against them. And about two months later Crystalshine gave birth to two kits. One of them is a she-cat and the other is a tom. They give the she-cat the name of Cinderkit. Cinderkit looks brown with an orange spotted tail and back. And the tom’s name is Mottledkit and he is black with orange spots and a white belly. Both Crystalshine and Eaglescar love them and will protect them with their lives. The whole clan is happy too for the future of Thunderclan.Cinderkit and Mottledkit love climbing on top of Eaglescar and having him run around camp. When Eaglescar went to go to his friend Cloud she told him he needed to come back or else. He says no and that he has a mate and kits. Cloud looked savagely and angrily at him. She lunges at him but he jumps out of the way of her attack. Even from when they were young Eaglescar was always faster than Cloud. Easglescar lunges at Cloud and gives her a very bad bite on the back of her neck. He says the only reason he didn’t kill her is because he couldn’t kill his friend. She flies off shakily and he is worried about what she’s planning. One day when Crystalshine was out hunting she was ambushed by Cloud and was badly injured but she managed to run to some thorny, thick brambles so she couldn’t get them. Eaglescar was livided when she got back to camp and was ready to kill Cloud for hurting his mate.
A couple days later the sky darkens over the Thunderclan camp. All the clan cats look up in fear as about six eagles come diving down. Every cat jumped in to fight them to defend the elders and queens. Since the Eaglescars new kits just arrived and some other queens were he sprinted to the Queens den and helped escort them to the secret burrow where they were safe and hiding. Once they were hidden he singled out Cloud who was fighting some of his clanmates. He sprinted at Cloud and tackled her. Since he was the strongest in the clan he gave her very deep wounds. With Cloud pinned he slashed her neck and said don’t ever touch my family or clan again. After a couple of seconds Cloud was dead. Once all the Eagles saw that Cloud was dead they all fled into the sky and flew away. Most of the clan was ok except some back injuries and the death of the Plumberry who is the deputy. The clan sat vigil for him all night. The next day the Hollystar called a meeting. She announced that we are going to need to rebuild the camp and to make reinforcements so if the birds come back they will be prepared. Then Hollystar announced that Eaglescar will be the new deputy of Thunderclan, because of his bravery in getting the queens and kits to safety and killing one of the eagles. Everyone cheers for Eaglescar and Crystalshine is especially happy for him and tells him thank you for saving the queens and kits.
All is well until shadowclan starts to stir up some trouble on the border. They started to put their scent markers further into Thunderclan land. Obviously Hollystar was livid so she organized a battle patrol to ambush Shadowclan in their camp. To up their chances of winning they covered their pelts in mud to help cover their scent and to go undetected. They decided to go under the cover of darkness in a crescent moon for the lowest suspicion. Once they surrounded the Shadowclan camp Hollystar yowled and the fight started. Eaglescar and Crystalshine fought together; back to back against three Shadowclan cats. Both of them swiped at their muzzles and shoulders. It was a bloody battle but in the end Thunderclan won but Hollystar unfortunately died from blood loss. The leader of Shadowclan agreed that they would stay off their land and with her dead Eaglescar became the new leader of Thunderclan. The next morning the medicine cat Spiderface took Eaglescar to the Moonpool to receive his leader’s name and his nine lives. After he received them his new name was Eaglestar.
Being leader was hard for Eaglestar at first but he quickly got the hang of it. He had got a vision from Starclan telling him he needs the eagles. Eaglestar was surprised and happy by this because he was going to see his mother Vega again but he was wondering what the other eagles would think when he asked them to be an ally with Thunderclan. The next couple days he thought about how he could convince them to come become their ally. But he also decided to take Crystalshine, Frostblaze, Swannose, Sandheart, and Troutpaw with him to the eagle territory.
Once they arrived Eaglestar told them to be alert because eagles can be aggressive. But to his surprise his mover Vega spotted them. She was aggressive at first but once she recognised Eaglestar she gave him a big hug and asked him why he was here. He told Vega that he had a vision that Thunderclan needed to be an ally to the Eagles. Vega looked surprised and uncertain but she agreed. She said that they needed to meet with the new leader of the Eagles named Thunderstrike. She warned them to be careful because he gets mad easily. Eaglestar said ok and let Vega lead the way to Thunderstrikes cave.
Once they got there he told Crystalshine to go with him because he knows she is very convincing. When they started walking into the cave it was very dark and narrow but then they started to see a light ahead and then they saw Thunderstrike. He was a massive eagle with a very pointy beak, pale yellow eyes and huge talons. What terrified him the most was that he had animal skulls around his neck. Thunderstrike gets up slowly but then flies straight at Eaglestar and pins his head against a wall and says what have you brought to my cave Vega. Vega says he wants to have an alliance with you and Thunderclan, he is my son who moved to the clan once he was old enough, and now he is the leader of Thunderclan. He lets go of a gasping Eaglestar and says why do you want to ally with me? Eaglescar says because I could help you defeat the hawks and you can help defend my clan’s territory from the other clans, and we could possibly take over all the clans together. It will make us strong and powerful, the hawks will never know what came at them. Thunderstrike thinks about that for a couple of heartbeats and is intrigued. He says on one condition, you need to let my eagle hunt on your land. Eaglestar reluctantly agrees and goes back to his clan with a lot to think about.
Eaglestar tells his clan that they have secured an alliance with the eagles and that if they see an eagle hunting on our territory it’s ok and don’t attack. He also tells them that they are going to unite all the clans under Thunderclan and they will rule the forest. The clan is excited and since it was the fool moon they could tell the other clans about this. That night when Riverclan, Shadowclan, Skyclan, Windclan, and Thunderclan all met together at the gathering, Eaglescar told them he had a vision that all the clans needed to be united under Thunderclan. All the other clans were outraged and said they would never follow Thunderclan. Eaglescar says you will regret this decision and you will all be sorry. And with that Thunderclan left the gathering to prepare for battle to unite the clans. A couple nights of planning later he went to Thunderstrikes cave to ask for help to defeat the other clans into submission. Thunderstrike agreed and so he went back to Thunderclan’s camp with Eaglestar to plan an attack on Shadowclan first.
They decided to take almost his whole clan with him plus Thunderstikes eagles to look as intimidating as possible. Since it was in the middle of the day and they had a lot of eagles and cats they were easily spotted and by the time they got to the Shadowclan camp all the Shadowclan warriors were lined up in a row to defend their clan. Before they fought, Eaglestar said we can end this peacefully or with violence whichever you decide. The Shadowclan leader responded with how can we end this peacefully. Eaglestar said you need to bow down to me and Thunderstrike. The other leader responded with and why should we do that? Eaglestar said because Starclan has told me to do so. The SHadowclan leader said under my dead body. And with that said the fighting began. Thunderclan’s plan consisted of killing the Shadowclan deputy and leader so they had no heirs and that’s exactly what they did. They were victorious and Shadowclan now fell under the rule of Thunderclan and Thunderstrikes eagles. They did the same to Riverclan, Windclan, and Skyclan. With this done they decided to make a new humongous camp so they can fit all the cats from the other clans in the same camp so no one can run away without being noticed. The other clan cats weren’t very happy but they won’t do anything about it because they know they will be torn to shreds by the eagles.
Thunderstrike and Eaglescar made a deal that if Thunderstrikes eagles helped defeat the other clans with Eaglescars cat that they could share all the territory and become the most powerful creatures in the forest.
All is well for the ten years of the rain of Thunderclan and the Eagles living together in harmony. Until Tunderstrike started to get greedy. He told Eaglestar that they needed to take more territory. But Eaglestrar said that they don’t need more. As the argument got worse Thunderstrike was livid. He said that if they didn’t take more land that he would kill his family. Eaglescar didn’t believe him and refused to follow through. Thunderstrike said he’d be back with vengeance and that he’d regret his decision.
The scent of pine needles and damp earth filled Eaglestar’s nostrils as he surveyed his domain. Ten years had passed since he’d united the Clans under Thunderclan, a reign marked by peace and prosperity. Yet, a shadow lingered, a silent threat woven into the very fabric of their newfound harmony: Thunderstrike.
The mighty eagle, once a reluctant ally, had grown insatiable. His hunger for power, fueled by the shared dominion over the forest, now threatened to consume them all. Eaglestar, the once-humble kitten raised by an eagle, now bore the weight of leadership, a responsibility he hadn’t sought but embraced with unwavering loyalty to his Clan.
“We don’t need more,” Eaglestar growled, his amber eyes burning with defiance. He addressed Thunderstrike, the massive eagle perched on a towering oak, his talons gleaming like polished silver.
“We have enough territory, enough prey. What more do you want, Thunderstrike?”
A chilling laugh erupted from the eagle’s throat, echoing through the dense forest. “Enough? You call this enough? We are the masters of the sky, the kings of this realm, and yet we are confined by your petty borders!”
Eaglestar felt a tremor of fear, a faint echo of the terror he’d felt as a kitten, facing the imposing gaze of the eagle. But he held his ground. “We have a pact. We have a shared dominion. You agreed to respect our boundaries.”
Thunderstrike’s eyes flashed with a cold fury. “Pacts are meant to be broken, especially when they are made with weaklings who fear the talons of a true predator!”
He swooped down, his wings creating a gust that sent leaves swirling around Eaglestar. “If you don’t expand our territory, I will be forced to take it myself. I will not hesitate to hunt your precious kits, to make you pay for your defiance!”
Eaglestar’s heart pounded, his fur bristling. He knew Thunderstrike was capable of such brutality. His instincts screamed at him to yield, to appease the eagle’s hunger. But his responsibility to his Clan, to his mate Crystalshine and their kits, Cinderpaw and Mottledpaw, was a burning fire in his soul.
“You will not touch my family,” Eaglestar snarled, his voice a low growl. “I will not let you destroy the peace we have built.”
Thunderstrike let out a screech that tore through the silence of the forest. “You are weak, Eaglestar. You are no match for me.”
The eagle spread his wings, his shadow engulfing the clearing, and with a deafening roar, he soared into the sky.
Eaglestar watched, his heart filled with dread, as Thunderstrike disappeared into the clouds. He knew this wasn’t the end. Thunderstrike’s threat was a storm gathering on the horizon.
Back at Thunderclan camp, Eaglestar confided in his trusted deputy, Frostblaze. “He’s growing bolder, Frostblaze. He wants more power. He wants the forest all for himself.”
“He’s been testing your limits for some time, Eaglestar,” Frostblaze said, her amber eyes filled with worry. “This alliance… it’s turning sour.”
Eaglestar couldn’t shake the feeling that their victory was fleeting, built on a foundation of fragile trust. They were trapped in an uneasy alliance, their power a double-edged sword, threatening to turn on them.
He knew he had to act. They had to be ready for the coming storm. But how could they stand against a force as powerful as the Eagles, especially when the leader was fueled by greed and rage?
He looked at Crystalshine, her silvery fur gleaming in the moonlight. He knew he couldn’t protect his Clan from the threat alone. They needed to devise a plan, a strategy that would safeguard their newfound peace, their families, their lives.
Thunderstrike’s words, a chilling echo of his threat, hung in the air. “You are weak, Eaglestar. You are no match for me.”
Those words, laced with arrogance and a hint of dark glee, fueled Eaglestar’s resolve. He would prove Thunderstrike wrong. He would stand his ground, for himself, for his Clan, for the future of the forest.
The storm was coming, and Eaglestar knew he would face it head-on. This was a fight he could not afford to lose.
