Hansel & Gretel (SCRIPT)
PLOT:
Once upon a time, there were two twins named Hansel & Gretel, their mean stepmother hashed a plot to ditch them out in the woods, but, they were smart because on the ground behind them they left a trail full of Reese’s pieces and E.T (who made a cameo), thought that they were delicious! Then, Hansel, Gretel & E.T had a dance party, and E.T showed them E.T’s craziest move “The No Pants Dance”, Hansel and Gretel get lost in the woods despite the trails they left on the ground after E.T ate the Reese’s pieces, but they soon came upon a house made full of candy, they started eating the house, and suddenly, A mean old witch comes out and demands them a choice: Either, The witch grabs them and E.T flying across the sky infront of the moon on E.T’s bicycle, The witch destroys a Delorian, making it crash, or kidnapping them on a pterodactyl. The witch takes the kids inside the candy house, Once inside, the Witch tells Hansel to get jailed in her house, and make Gretel do the dishes, as Gretel frees Hansel, Hansel and Gretel come up with a plan to trick the witch into climbing into the oven, they flip it on, and voila! They’re saved! After that, they phone home to E.T, Hansel and Gretel return to their homeplanet and eat a bunch of Reese’s pieces, Pterodactyl and E.T were there too, and they all ate Reese’s pieces and danced E.T’s No Pants Dance

FADE IN:
EXT. FOREST – DAY
A lush, green forest. Sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dappled shadows. We see HANSEL and GRETEL, young twins, trudging along a path. Their faces are drawn, and they carry baskets. Behind them, a trail of colorful Reese’s Pieces stretches out, glistening in the sunlight.
HANSEL
(Whispering)
Are you sure this will work, Gretel?
GRETEL
(Whispering)
It has to! Mom won’t be able to resist those Reese’s Pieces.
Suddenly, a figure emerges from the trees, his face lit by a warm, alien glow. It’s E.T., the extraterrestrial, his finger pointed at the candy trail.
E.T.
(Speaking in his signature language)
E.T. phone home.
E.T. dives into the Reese’s Pieces with gusto, munching happily. Hansel and Gretel watch him with amusement.
HANSEL
(Grinning)
I guess E.T. likes Reese’s Pieces!
GRETEL
(Laughing)
Maybe he’ll help us!
EXT. FOREST – CONTINUOUS
E.T. finishes off the trail, wiping his mouth with his finger. Hansel and Gretel are now lost, the forest vast and confusing.
GRETEL
(Worried)
We’re lost! Mom won’t be able to find us now.
HANSEL
(Looking around)
But look, there’s a house! Made of candy!
INT. CANDY HOUSE – CONTINUOUS
Hansel and Gretel gawk at the house. Candy walls, gingerbread floors, lollipop furniture… it’s a sugar-coated dream.
HANSEL
(Excited)
We have to try everything!
Hansel takes a bite out of a candy wall, while Gretel licks a lollipop chandelier.
GRETEL
(Delighted)
This is the best house ever!
Suddenly, a cackling laugh echoes through the house.
WITCH
(Emerging from behind a gingerbread curtain)
Who’s eating my house?
The Witch is old and haggard, her eyes gleaming with malice. Hansel and Gretel are terrified.
WITCH
(Pointing her bony finger)
You have a choice: You either come with me, or you face the consequences!
The Witch gestures to a nearby Delorean, a time-traveling car, and a Pterodactyl circling overhead.
HANSEL
(Trying to be brave)
We’d rather not, if you don’t mind.
GRETEL
(Adding)
We wouldn’t want to cause any trouble.
WITCH
(Screaming)
Then you’ll regret it!
The Witch grabs the children and throws them into a cage inside the candy house.
INT. CANDY HOUSE – LATER
Hansel sits in a makeshift jail, while Gretel washes dishes.
GRETEL
(Angry)
This is all your fault, Hansel!
HANSEL
(Whispering)
Don’t worry, Gretel. I have a plan.
Hansel notices a basket filled with apples nearby. He picks one and starts to think.
HANSEL
(Smiling)
The witch loves apples!
INT. CANDY HOUSE – CONTINUOUS
The Witch enters the room, her eyes fixed on the apple.
WITCH
(Reaching for the apple)
Oh, how I love apples!
HANSEL
(Feigning fear)
Please, Madame Witch! Don’t eat that apple! It’s poisoned!
WITCH
(Suspicious)
Poisoned? Why would you say that?
HANSEL
(Whispering)
Just… just look at it! See how shiny it is? That’s the poison!
The Witch looks at the apple, her eyes widening. She takes a small bite.
WITCH
(Gagging)
Ugh! You’re right! It is poisoned!
The Witch stumbles towards the oven, her face pale.
HANSEL
(Whispering to Gretel)
Now!
Gretel rushes to the oven, opens it wide, and pushes the Witch inside. She slams the door shut and turns the oven on.
INT. CANDY HOUSE – CONTINUOUS
The Witch screams as flames engulf her.
WITCH
(Shouting)
You’ll pay for this!
Suddenly, the oven explodes, sending the Witch flying out of the house. Hansel and Gretel are free.
EXT. FOREST – DAY
Hansel and Gretel, hand-in-hand, make their way through the forest, following a trail of Reese’s Pieces.
HANSEL
(Looking at Gretel)
We did it, Gretel! We’re free!
GRETEL
(Smiling)
Thanks to E.T. and the Reese’s Pieces!
They arrive at a clearing and see E.T. flying on his bicycle, holding a box of Reese’s Pieces.
E.T.
(Smiling)
E.T. phone home.
HANSEL & GRETEL
(Together)
Phone home!
E.T. beams at them, his finger pointing to a shimmering portal in the sky.
E.T.
(Grinning)
E.T. go home.
Hansel and Gretel take a bite of a Reese’s Pieces and follow E.T. through the portal, the Pterodactyl trailing behind, carrying a large bag of Reese’s Pieces.
FADE OUT.
