In first Pov: On halloween, Me and my friends went as sexy cops. We walked around getting candy, we needed a break so we went to Mcdonalds…I saw my enemy Axel, I can’t imagine what hes gonna do to me!? Bully me…or something more…

The air crackled with the electric energy of Halloween. My friends, dressed as equally scandalous versions of “sexy cops,” were already buzzing with excitement. My costume, a skin-tight black jumpsuit with a strategically placed badge, felt more like armor than a playful outfit. My stomach churned with a familiar anxiety.

We had just finished our rounds, pockets overflowing with candy, when the inevitable happened. “McDonalds, anyone?” My friend, Jen, announced. We all groaned in unison. It was the only place open this late on Halloween, and everyone was craving fries.

The golden arches loomed before us, their neon glow reflecting in the puddles of the streets. As I pushed through the door, I froze. He was there. Axel. His eyes, the same shade of dark green as the forest after a storm, locked onto mine.

My heart pounded in my chest. Axel had been my nemesis since elementary school. His taunts, his cruel jokes, and his relentless bullying had defined our relationship for years. And right now, with his signature smirk playing on his lips, he looked ready to unleash another round of torture.

He was wearing a dark leather jacket and ripped jeans, a Halloween costume that seemed to perfectly embody his rebellious nature. His hair, usually meticulously styled, was a mess of messy, dark curls. He looked… different. Not menacing, but… intriguing.

“What are you staring at?” he asked, his voice a low growl.

“Nothing,” I said, my voice wavering. I felt my face burn with embarrassment.

He took a step closer, his eyes boring into mine. “You’re blushing, sweetheart,” he said. “Don’t tell me you’re finally feeling the power of my presence.” He chuckled, a deep rumble that sent shivers down my spine.

I glared at him. “Don’t you dare try your usual tricks with me,” I said, trying to sound brave. But my voice cracked, and I knew I was losing the battle.

“Tricks?” he asked, his eyes widening. “I’m not here to play tricks on you.”

He leaned in close, his hot breath brushing against my ear. “I’m here to… see you,” he whispered.

His words were a whisper, but they echoed through my mind like a thunderclap. I stared at him, speechless. He wasn’t being cruel. He wasn’t mocking me. He was… looking at me. Really looking at me.

Suddenly, the tension in the air shifted. It wasn’t hostile, not anymore. It was something else. Something… electric.

He took a step back, his eyes still fixed on mine. “I’ll see you around,” he said. And with that, he turned and walked away.

I stood there for a moment, frozen. The air vibrated with the energy of our encounter. Had he really just said he’d see me again? Had he… changed? Or was this just another one of his games?

“Earth to Jess!” Jen called out, snapping me back to reality. “You okay?”

I blinked, shaking my head. “Yeah, I’m fine.” I looked around, searching for Axel, but he was gone. The only trace of his presence was the lingering electricity in the air.

That night, as I lay in bed, the image of Axel’s eyes, the warmth of his breath, the unexpected intimacy of our encounter, played over and over in my mind. Maybe, just maybe, this wasn’t the end of our story. Maybe, it was just the beginning.
