EXT. FOREST – DAY
Sunlight filters through the leaves, dappling the forest floor. SNOW WHITE (16, cheerful and brave) walks with RIDING HOOD (15, curious and adventurous). Both girls are dressed in their signature red and blue respectively.
SNOW WHITE
(Smiling)
Hey, what’s happening to you, Riding Hood? Why are you shining like a star?
Riding Hood stops walking, her face contorted with a look of confusion.
RIDING HOOD
I don’t know, Snow White. I just know that I’m feeling something weird.
SNOW WHITE
What kinds of weird? What are you feeling?
RIDING HOOD
(Whispering)
I just feel like there are ants in my whole body!
Suddenly, Riding Hood begins to glow, her skin turning a vibrant green. She shrinks, her limbs becoming smaller and rounder.
SNOW WHITE
(Eyes wide with alarm)
Riding Hood! What’s happening?!
RIDING HOOD
(Voice squeaking)
I…I don’t know!
Within seconds, Riding Hood has completely transformed into a large, perfectly ripe pear. Snow White stares in disbelief.
SNOW WHITE
(Stuttering)
Oh my gosh, Riding Hood, you transformed into a pear!
Snow White reaches out and carefully picks up the pear, cradling it in her hands.
SNOW WHITE
(Gently)
Don’t worry, Riding Hood. I’ll figure out what to do.
