In the heart of the Jade Mountains, where bamboo forests whispered secrets to the wind and waterfalls cascaded like silver threads, lived three little piggies. Each as unique as the jade stones themselves, they were known as Xiǎo Bái (Little White), Xiǎo Hóng (Little Red), and Xiǎo Hēi (Little Black).

Xiǎo Bái, with his gentle heart and nimble paws, was a master craftsman. Xiǎo Hóng, a fiery spirit with a boisterous laugh, possessed a magical talent for weaving intricate tapestries from moonlight and dew. Xiǎo Hēi, the wisest of the three, had a keen eye and an insatiable curiosity for the wonders of the world.

One spring day, as the peach trees bloomed in a riot of pink and white, their mother, a wise old sow, warned them of the fearsome Wǔlíng (Five-Clawed Dragon) who dwelled in the Shadow Valley. “He craves the flesh of innocent piglets,” she cautioned, her voice thick with worry. “Build yourselves strong homes, my dears, and never stray from the path.”

Xiǎo Bái, ever the pragmatist, built his home from sturdy bamboo, weaving it into a strong, impenetrable hut. Xiǎo Hóng, with her magical talent, wove a magnificent tapestry, shimmering with celestial light, as her home. Xiǎo Hēi, however, chose a different path. He journeyed to the heart of the Jade Mountains, where the ancient jade dragons dwelled, and sought their wisdom.

The jade dragons, impressed by his courage, gifted him with a magical jade pendant, said to ward off evil spirits. Xiǎo Hēi returned home, feeling a sense of safety and security.

But the Wǔlíng, a creature of darkness and greed, soon found the piggies’ homes. With a thunderous roar, he blew down Xiǎo Bái’s bamboo hut. Xiǎo Hóng’s tapestry, though beautiful, proved no match for the dragon’s raw power.

Xiǎo Hēi, however, remained unharmed. The jade pendant, imbued with the power of the jade dragons, shone brightly, repelling the Wǔlíng with an unbearable light. The dragon, enraged and defeated, retreated back into the Shadow Valley, leaving behind a lesson etched in the heart of the Jade Mountains.

The three piggies, safe and sound, learned that courage, wisdom, and the power of kindness were stronger than any storm, even the storm of fear. They shared their story with every piglet in the Jade Mountains, spreading the wisdom of the ancient jade dragons and the importance of living a life filled with courage, kindness, and the magic of the world.
