Scene 1:

INT. RIO DE JANEIRO STREET – DAY

Sunlight bathes a vibrant street scene. Kids play basketball, laughter echoing through the air. One of the kids throws the ball too hard, sending it flying over the fence.

BOLA: (Voiceover) Whoa! That was a ride! I’ve never seen the world from this angle before!

The ball bounces off a parked car, then rolls down a steep hill, landing with a thud in a flower market.

DONA MARIA: Oh, my! This poor little ball, lost and alone.

Dona Maria picks up the ball and examines it.

DONA MARIA: (To Bola) Don’t you worry, my little friend. I’ll find you a home.

Dona Maria takes the ball to her stall, where she sells flowers.

Scene 2:

INT. DONA MARIA’S STALL – DAY

Pedro, a young street artist, paints a vibrant mural on a nearby wall. He notices the ball.

PEDRO: Wow, this ball is old, but it’s beautiful!

DONA MARIA: My dear, this ball is full of stories. It’s seen a lot of life.

PEDRO: It reminds me of my dreams. I want to bring life and color to this city, just like this ball does with its bounces.

DONA MARIA: Then you should take care of it.

Pedro smiles and takes the ball. He throws it up and catches it, the orange glow reflecting in his eyes.

Scene 3:

INT. CARLOS’ APARTMENT – DAY

Carlos, an older man, sits alone in his apartment, surrounded by dust and despair. He hears a knock on the door.

CARLOS: (Grumbling) Who could it be?

He opens the door to find Pedro, offering the ball.

PEDRO: Excuse me, sir, I found this ball and I thought you might like it.

CARLOS: (Scoffs) I haven’t played basketball in years. What good is a ball to an old man like me?

PEDRO: Maybe it can remind you of something you’ve forgotten. The joy of a simple game.

Carlos hesitantly takes the ball. He throws it up and catches it. A faint smile appears on his face.

Scene 4:

EXT. STREET – NIGHT

Maria, a young dancer, practices her routines on the street, her movements graceful and powerful. She sees Luis, a shy boy, watching her from afar.

MARIA: (Calling out) Hey! Come join me!

Luis hesitates, then shyly walks towards Maria. He holds a basketball in his hands.

LUIS: I… I can’t really dance.

MARIA: Then we’ll teach you! This ball can be our rhythm.

Maria and Luis start to play with the ball, their steps becoming more confident and fluid. Luis’ eyes light up with newfound confidence.

Scene 5:

INT. DONA MARIA’S STALL – DAY

Dona Maria watches the kids play basketball. She smiles at the sight of their laughter and the joy they find in the game. She sees Bola bouncing in the air, full of life.

DONA MARIA: (To Bola) You’ve touched so many lives, my little ball. You’ve shown them that even in the simplest of things, there is beauty and magic.

Bola: (Voiceover) I may be just a ball, but I’ve learned a lot on my journey. About friendship, love, and the importance of a good bounce.
