Ebott and locked them away with a magical barrier. Years later Frisk fell into the Underground and went on a journey that ended with the barrier breaking and all of monster kind being able to rejoin human society. Because of her bravery Frisk was made ambassador of monsters and was adopted by Toriel and Asgore at the age of six(Frisk is currently 23). Asriel(Asgore and Toriel’s biological son) became her big brother and Chara(who was also adopted by Toriel and Asgore and was year older than Asriel) became her older nonbinary sibling. At the time both she and Chara the only humans in their family of monsters. However years later Alphys and Undyne adopted a human girl named Kris as well Kris’s best friend, a monster named Susie. Asriel is a single dad to Ralsei, however Chara lives with him to help out. Sans is Frisk’s husband, he is a skeleton monster. Sans and Frisk have a LARGE age gap but they have managed to make it work. The two have been married for two years and have recently found out Frisk was pregnant. Sans and Frisk’s child will be the first ever human monster hybrid.
It was the weekly family dinner this week being hosted by Frisk and Sans who had a special announcement to make. Sans’s brother Papyrus was already aware of the news and was trying his best to keep it a secret. Soon the guests began arriving. Frisk’s adoptive parents Toriel and Asgore were the first to arrive, shortly followed by her older sibling Chara, her older brother Asriel, and Asriel’s 7 year old son Ralsei. Then came Undyne, her wife Alphys, and their 8 year old daughters Kris and Susie. Grillby had also arrived not long after. Finally showing up fashionably late as usual were Mettaton and Napstablook. Everyone began chatting as the children sat on the living room floor playing board games.
The aroma of cinnamon rolls and pie wafted through the air, a familiar scent that always marked a family gathering. Frisk, her stomach a flurry of butterflies, watched as the last of her loved ones arrived, her heart brimming with anticipation. This wasn’t just any ordinary family dinner; this was the night she and Sans would share their big news.
“Heya, Frisk!” Sans sauntered in, his signature grin wider than usual. “Ready for the big reveal?” His voice was a low rumble, barely audible over the excited chatter of the children.
“I think so,” Frisk replied, a nervous giggle escaping her lips. “I’ve been practicing my announcement all week.”
As the laughter and chatter subsided, Frisk took a deep breath and stood up. “Everyone,” she began, her voice ringing with warmth, “we have something very special to share.”
The room fell silent, all eyes on her. Even the children, captivated by the sudden shift in the atmosphere, paused their game.
“You know, we’ve been talking about expanding our family for a while…” Frisk continued, her eyes meeting Sans’, who squeezed her hand reassuringly. “And it seems… our wish has been granted.”
She paused, letting the weight of her words sink in. Then, with a mischievous glint in her eye, she added, “I’m pregnant!”
The room exploded. Ralsei’s jaw dropped, Susie squealed with excitement, and even the stoic Grillby let out a surprised chuckle. Asgore and Toriel looked at each other, their eyes shining with a joy that belied their age.
“A human-monster hybrid! This is unprecedented!” Asgore exclaimed, his voice filled with wonder. “This is a monumental moment in the history of our two worlds!”
“I can’t believe it,” Alphys whispered, her voice barely audible over the collective gasp that had filled the room. “I’m so happy for you both, Frisk! This is truly incredible!”
Undyne, ever the pillar of strength, gave Frisk a heartfelt hug. “I knew you and Sans were meant to be. This is just… wow!”
Mettaton, ever the drama queen, fainted.
“I told you, I knew this was gonna happen!” Papyrus, who had been diligently keeping the secret, suddenly erupted into a flurry of excited chatter. “This is going to be so much fun! I’m gonna be the best uncle! We’re gonna have so many adventures! We’re gonna… Oh, brother!” Papyrus realized he was going overboard. “Sorry, I’m just excited.”
As the initial shock subsided, the room buzzed with questions. How far along was Frisk? What gender were they expecting? What would the baby look like?
“Well,” Frisk said, her face flushed with happiness, “We’re only a few months along, so it’s still early days. As for the gender, we want it to be a surprise. And honestly, we have no idea what this little one will look like. A human-monster hybrid, huh? It’s going to be one of a kind, for sure.”
As the evening progressed, the excitement never waned. The family shared stories, played games, and laughed together, each member wrapped in the warmth of love and shared joy.
Later that night, after the others had left, Frisk and Sans were alone in their cozy living room. The faint glow of the fireplace cast long shadows across the room, creating an intimate ambiance.
Frisk leaned against Sans, a contented sigh escaping her lips. “I can’t believe it, Sans. We’re going to be parents!”
Sans chuckled, his skeletal fingers gently tracing circles on her stomach. “Yeah, it’s kinda crazy, huh? We’re gonna be the best parents in the whole world.”
The world outside their home was filled with uncertainty, but within the walls of their home, they had created a haven of love and acceptance. A place where two worlds had intertwined, where monsters and humans lived together in harmony, and now, a new chapter was about to begin, a chapter that held the promise of a brighter future, a future filled with hope, love, and a whole lot of love for the tiny human-monster hybrid on its way.
