It has been roughly a quarter of a century since Godzilla was last seen, following a fearsome battle. With the world at peace from giant monster attacks, people have largely forgotten the past struggles. However, this changes when waves of Gigan Miles appear and attack Japan, led by Gigan Rex. A squadron of JSDF F-35 fighter jets engage Gigan Rex in the atmosphere, but a Gigan Miles shoots down their missiles. The jets are swiftly outflanked and destroyed when the cyborg monster out maneuvers and attacks back with its arms and energy beams. On the ground as more jets fly into battle, a tank battalion fires upon another Gigan Miles to little effect before yet another cyborg monster ambushes them. As the Gigan Miles squadron amass in the now ruined city to lay waste to it, another of their number falls to the ground after having its throat torn out by an unknown assailant.
Godzilla makes himself known and confronts the Gigan Miles group. One of the cyborgs attempts to strike at Godzilla with its spiked arms and tail, only to be caught and smashed into the ground. Godzilla finishes off the first attacker with a stomp to the neck, but has to dodge the bladed strikes of another, which slashes apart a building instead. Another Gigan Miles joins the fray by pouncing atop Godzilla’s back. Activating its buzz saw, it tries to carve into Godzilla as its cohort fires upon him at range with its energy beam. Godzilla manages to best both attackers by first blowing apart the one latched onto his back with a surge of power through his dorsal spines, then loosing a salvo of explosive atomic breath at the other.
As Godzilla appeared victorious, Gigan Rex crashes down from the sky to challenge him.
Gigan Rex lashes at Godzilla with his Rex Blades, striking his arms with precision force. Next, the slit on Gigan Rex’s chest splits open, revealing a large eye that fires a powerful laser. Knocked to the ground, Godzilla returns fire at Gigan Rex, causing the cyborg to leap out in the air and retaliate with another swipe from his Rex Blades. After slashing through several buildings, the extending chain blades are caught by Godzilla, who swings Gigan Rex into the buildings below. Gigan Rex tries to stabilize himself using the sharp prongs on his tail as an anchor, but Godzilla sends him flying again with the whip of his own tail and tries to finish Gigan Rex with another beam of atomic energy. Gigan Rex blocks the beam in between his claws. His forehead piece glows as he summons assistance.
Nine more Gigan Miles fly down from the sky. The cyborgs retract some of their skin to expose their buzz saws to a greater extent and dive in. The squadron begins an all-out assault on Godzilla, flying past to attack him with their saws as Gigan Rex fires his chest beam from a distance. The Gigan Miles finally dog-pile onto him in an attempt to cut him to pieces with their saws.
Godzilla, just as all hope seemed lost, begins surging with energy. He enters an enhanced state with his chest and dorsal spines glowing white. He uses a nuclear pulse followed by a powerful blast of atomic breath to destroy three of the Gigan Miles. The remaining six Gigan Miles, under the command of Gigan Rex, give up their life force to empower him with glowing cores of energy from their bodies. Forming an arcane aura of red energy from his newly siphoned power, Gigan Rex unleashed a final chest laser in a last-ditch effort to destroy the King of the Monsters. Godzilla fires back with a white atomic breath. As their blasts of energy collide, the city is shrouded in blinding white light; as it subsides, Gigan Rex’s charred body falls to the ground as Godzilla reigns victorious.

The year is 2048. Twenty-five years had passed since the last kaiju attack, a distant memory for most. Godzilla, the King of the Monsters, was a legend whispered in hushed tones, relegated to faded newspaper clippings and grainy documentaries. That comfortable peace shattered on a Tuesday morning.

The sky over Tokyo was ripped open not by fire, but by a swarm of metallic insects. Gigan Miles – cyborg monsters, sleek and deadly – descended, their mechanical limbs whirring like a thousand angry wasps. Leading the charge was Gigan Rex, a behemoth towering over its lesser brethren, its Rex Blades gleaming menacingly in the sunlight.

The Japan Self-Defense Forces scrambled. A squadron of F-35s intercepted, missiles arcing towards the lead Gigan Miles. But a swift, precise strike from one of the smaller cyborgs obliterated the ordnance mid-flight. Outmaneuvered, outgunned, the jets were swiftly torn apart, their pilots ejected into the chaos below.

On the ground, a tank battalion opened fire, their shells impacting the metallic hide of a Gigan Miles with a deafening roar. The effect was minimal. The cyborg shrugged off the barrage, its energy cannons spitting death in response. Before the tanks could regroup, another Gigan Miles emerged from the smoke, its buzz saw arms a blur of deadly precision.

The city became a charnel house. Buildings crumbled under the relentless onslaught of the Gigan Miles. Then, a gruesome sight. One of the cyborg monsters fell, its throat ripped open, its metallic innards spilling onto the ravaged streets. An unknown assailant had struck.

The ground trembled. A roar, primal and earth-shattering, ripped through the cacophony of destruction. From the depths of the city, Godzilla emerged, a colossal titan of flesh and bone, his dorsal fins glowing with incandescent rage.

The Gigan Miles swarmed him, their spiked arms and buzz saws a whirlwind of steel. One attempted a reckless attack, only to be caught in Godzilla’s mighty grip and slammed into the earth with bone-jarring force. A stomp to the neck ended its life. Another slashed at Godzilla, missing his scales but cleaving a skyscraper in two. Yet another leaped onto his back, its buzz saw whirring menacingly.

Godzilla reacted with terrifying efficiency. A surge of energy from his dorsal fins blew the parasitic cyborg into a thousand pieces. A deafening roar preceded a volley of atomic breath, incinerating the remaining attacker.

Victory seemed assured. Then, Gigan Rex descended from the sky, a terrifying parody of a tyrannosaurus, its metallic hide scarred but unbowed.

The battle escalated. Gigan Rex’s Rex Blades ripped through Godzilla’s arms, each strike precise and brutal. The slit on its chest opened, revealing a cyclopean eye that unleashed a searing laser. Godzilla crashed to the ground.

The King of the Monsters retaliated, but Gigan Rex, agile despite its size, danced away from the atomic breath, its claws slashing through buildings as it continued its relentless assault. Godzilla caught the extending chain blades, throwing the cyborg into the devastated cityscape. A whip of Godzilla’s powerful tail sent Gigan Rex flying again, but the cyborg used its tail prongs to anchor itself, only to be thrown once more.

Godzilla aimed a devastating atomic blast, but Gigan Rex deflected it. The metallic gleam on its forehead pulsed. A telepathic shriek cut through the air.

Nine more Gigan Miles descended from the heavens, their buzz saws exposed, their bodies honed for a final, desperate assault. They swarmed Godzilla, a terrifying ballet of death. Gigan Rex fired his chest laser from afar, the beam adding to the maelstrom of destruction.

Just as all hope seemed lost, Godzilla’s very essence shifted. A white light enveloped him; his chest and spines glowed with incandescent energy. He unleashed a nuclear pulse, then a white-hot atomic breath, obliterating three Gigan Miles.

The remaining six, in a horrifying act of sacrifice, surrendered their life force to Gigan Rex. Glowing cores of energy flowed into the cyborg leader, bathing him in an arcane red aura. Gigan Rex unleashed one final, devastating chest laser, a beam of pure, concentrated hate.

Godzilla met the attack with a blinding white atomic breath. The city was shrouded in a blinding white light. When the light subsided, only the charred remains of Gigan Rex remained. Godzilla, battered but unbroken, stood triumphant, the King of the Monsters once again. The legend was reborn.
