Red’s Runaway Spin

FADE IN:

INT. CRAYON BOX – DAY

A cozy, cluttered crayon box. Crayons of all colors are scattered about, some leaning against each other, others sprawled out on their sides. The sun streams in through a crack in the box lid, casting long shadows.

RED (A bold, fiery crayon)
Hey, anyone wanna play tag? I’m feeling super energetic!

ORANGE (A bright, bubbly crayon)
Sure, Red! But let’s keep it inside the box, okay? We don’t want to cause any trouble.

YELLOW (A cheerful, optimistic crayon)
Yeah, Red, remember what happened last time you went zooming around?

Red shrugs, a mischievous glint in his waxy eye.

RED
It was just a little fun! Besides, I’m feeling extra fast today. I’m going to try a new spin!

BLUE (A calm, contemplative crayon)
Red, please! We don’t need another near-disaster.

Ignoring the warnings, Red starts spinning, faster and faster. His red body blurs into a crimson vortex.

VIOLET (A regal, elegant crayon)
Oh dear, here we go again…

RED (Spinning wildly)
Woohoo! This is amazing! I’m going so fast!

Suddenly, Red’s spin becomes uncontrollable. He shoots up, out of the crayon box and into the open air, leaving a trail of swirling red behind him.

EXT. BACKYARD – DAY

A typical backyard, with a swing set, a sandbox, and a small house. Red, a whirling red tornado, flies above the house, sucking up everything in its path. The sandbox disappears, then the swing set, then the grass. The house starts to tremble and crumble.

EXT. EARTH – DAY

Red’s swirling vortex now envelops the whole Earth. Mountains crumble, oceans churn, and continents crack. The planet shrinks, becoming a red-tinged speck.

EXT. SOLAR SYSTEM – DAY

The solar system is engulfed by Red’s chaos. Planets are sucked into the red vortex, their colors blurring into a dizzying swirl.

EXT. UNIVERSE – DAY

The entire universe, stars and galaxies alike, is swallowed by the red spin. Everything fades to a blinding white, except for Red, who continues to spin, a tiny, fiery speck in the vastness of the void.

INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY

A young boy, MARK, is playing with crayons, his eyes wide with wonder as he watches Red’s antics on a small, handheld camera.

MARK
Wow! Look at that! Red is spinning so fast! He’s going to swallow the whole universe!

Suddenly, the camera image turns completely white, as if a sheet of paper was placed over the lens. Then, it fades to black.

FADE OUT.
