“Poor heroes. You’ve been collecting these relics in order to stregthen the barrier between the light realm and the dark realm, but you have been mislead.” The princess of the light realm explained as demonic magic radient from her body, purple veins pulsing across her skin whilst her clothes have turned pitched black.
The princess of the dark realm began to laugh as she saw the looks of disbelief on the party’s faces, their bodies frozen in place.
“This has been so entertaining, the both of us having control over the board. Win or loose, our goal of shattering the dimensional barrier between the dark realm and the light realm and fusing them together will be achived.” The princess of the dark realm purred, her demonic features being pure white as divine magic raidient from her.
“Now. let’s join together to welcome the new world. A world where human and demon exists. If they decided to live together or fight for survival…..well, that’s up to them.” The princess of the light realm said before turning towards her counterpart who nodded her head in agreement.
The two princesses stepped into the magic circle and when they clasped hands together, the magic circle began to glow and a shimmering water-like substance appeared, covering the two princesses.
When the water-like substance disappeared, there stood a single person, a blend of demon and human, wearing clothes made from demonic and divine magic and on her head is a crown, seemingly made from both light and darkness.
“Now, let’s the shattering of the barrier and fusion of the two worlds…begin.” The fused being said as she raised a hand, causing the seven stones to raise into the air before starting to glow, raidienting with higher magic.
A wave of energy then surged forth, knocking the party off their feet as reality began to shake.
The tremor that ripped through the throne room wasn’t just felt; it was visceral, a tearing of reality itself. Anya, the elven ranger, scrambled to her feet, her bow clattering against the marble floor. Beside her, Gorok, the hulking orc warrior, groaned, clutching his head. Liam, the human mage, was already chanting, a desperate shield of light flickering around him, barely containing the chaotic energy. Elara, the dwarven sorceress, her face pale, was muttering incantations in a language older than time, trying to anchor them to a rapidly dissolving world.
They’d spent months, years even, collecting the seven sacred stones, believing them to be the key to strengthening the barrier between the Light and Dark Realms. Now, they knew the horrifying truth. The princesses, the twin pillars of their respective realms, had orchestrated this from the start. A fusion, not a protection.
The combined being, a terrifying amalgamation of angelic and demonic features, pulsed with raw power. Her eyes, one a blazing sapphire, the other a molten ruby, fixed on the party with cold indifference. The crown upon her head, a twisted mockery of royalty, crackled with both divine and infernal energy.
“Foolish mortals,” the fused princess boomed, her voice echoing the clash of light and shadow. “You thought to save your worlds? You were merely pawns in a far grander game.”
Liam, regaining his composure, hurled a bolt of pure light at the creature. It shattered against an invisible shield, the force of the impact sending him reeling. Gorok roared and charged, his axe whistling through the air, only to be stopped short by a wave of dark energy that slammed him into a crumbling column.
Anya, seizing the opportunity, unleashed a volley of arrows tipped with enchanted silver. They struck the princess, piercing the shimmering armor she now wore, but did little to impede her. Each arrow simply vanished, absorbed into the chaotic maelstrom of her being.
Elara, seeing the futility of direct attacks, focused her magic on the stones. They were levitating, pulsing with unbearable intensity, the source of the encroaching dimensional rift. She channeled all her power, attempting to sever the connection, to halt the fusion. But the combined energy of the two princesses was too overwhelming.
The ground buckled beneath them. Buildings in the distance began to twist and distort, the familiar architecture morphing into grotesque parodies of themselves. Screams echoed from outside, a cacophony of terror and chaos. The merging was complete.
Desperate, Anya remembered a hidden passage, a secret escape route known only to a select few. She shouted to her companions, urging them to follow. With a final, desperate effort, they plunged into the darkness, the screams of the dying world fading behind them. Their journey was far from over. The fusion of the realms was a reality, and the fight for survival, for a future where light and darkness could coexist—or annihilate each other—had just begun. Their adventure had only just started.
